Introduction!

Words and Images is a visual resource bank of 6 images that supports a sequence of 6 lessons in art and design and that is underpinned by a Take One Picture approach. Each lesson is targeted at either a year 5 or year 6 class. Each image reflects the 'words and images' theme, but is inspired by a different artist and draws on different media. The images will be discussed and studied, but at the same time children will have the opportunity to express themselves and their interpretion of the artists' work.
